Becoming a multi-planet species

I haven't a clue what you're on about. If you're talking about space
aliens, we've been searching for them for decades now, and found zero
(zilch, nada) evidence that they exist.

Yes, probability tells us the *ought* to exist... but it also tells us
that once any species becomes space-facing, they will fill their galaxy
in relatively short time (a few hundred million to maybe a billion
years) compared to the average time-to-appear (which would be a bell
curve, and though we don't know what the mean and variance of those are,
it's reasonable to assume it's on the order of billions of years, given
that we're appearing just now 14 billion years after "Go!"). And we
know that in any normal (bell-curve) distribution, the outliers are much
further apart than the points in the middle.

All this means that the first species to arise will find itself in an
empty galaxy, and probably settle the whole darn thing before the second
spacefaring species appears.

Combine that with the apparent emptiness of the galaxy, and the simplest
and most logical conclusion is that WE happen to be that first species.
The alternative is that we're in some sort of nature preserve, and the
ancient aliens are purposely hiding from us. But Occam's Razor
certainly favors the former.
