Becoming a multi-planet species

In the US we have the
Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) and this:

DAHLGREN, Va. (NNS) -- A new command charged with operating and maintaining the Navy's space and global telecommunications systems and services was established in formal ceremonies here recently.
The Naval Network and Space Operations Command (NNSOC), created through the merger of elements of Naval Space Command and the Naval Network Operations Command, will execute operational oversight of shipboard networks, Navy's satellite communication systems and overseas communications networks, as well as the Navy's portion of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet."
The Air Force also has a Space Command.
(dated 18 May 2017) "As the need for space lift grows globally, partnerships between the Air Force, other government agencies and the commercial space industry are enhancing the 45th Space Wing's vision of remaining the world's premier gateway to space."
Russia has an Aerospace Defence Forces Branch, created relatively recently.
And from wikipedia on the Chinese space program: "[Chinese] officials have articulated long term ambitions to exploit Earth-Moon space for industrial development. The goal would be the construction of
space-based solar power satellites
that would beam energy back to Earth."
There is other space technology development work being done in secret, according to Dr. Steven Greer and others. And it you don't believe that groups keep secrets, then please let me know the user names and passwords for all your bank accounts so I can participate with you in their use! Of course, the biggest group that would want to keep themselves a secret from the general Earth population would be ET. No one who has seriously looked into this subject thinks that ET is a fantasy. So I think it's time for Spacesettlers to get real on this issue and realize that we are sharing our space with other groups, and will need to continue to do so.
