If space is to be colonised it will be important to recycle human waste.
There is ambivalence regarding use of biosolids in agriculture - although
resistance to its use is slowly diminishing:
Interestingly organic farmers are not allowed to use biosolids!
"Organic farmers can't use biosolids as fertilizer without risking their
organic certification, but it's relatively easy for others to get,

organizations ."
