The planetary chauvinism debate

We have zero data, and what seems to be contrary data: a marathon runner will be expected to be more healthy than a couch potato, and the animals raised in hyper-G being more healthy than controls.
It is simply irresponsible bordering on fantasy, to blithely ignore this, and to go on as if planning to live on the Moon or Mars anyway.
Not Elon Musk nor Robert Zubrin nor anybody can change this. Saying "a S.F. author wrote about planetary living" or "maybe with future advances in several sciences which aren't even laboratory curiosities now, let alone viable therapies, we should be able to engineer ourselves to adapt..." These are the arguments in favor of low-G living on planets.
This might have been a good one to bring up...
Until we know, we should be satisfied that we do know that there are no new inventions needed to allow for virtually Earth-like conditions anywhere in the Solar system out into the Oort halo.
