starting from nothing you can unfold a 15 years calendar going anyway you
want. That is, anything 15 years away is fully indeterminate. Certainly true. If there was a lesson to be learned from Apollo, it was that an astonishing lot can be accomplished even in 10 years. When Kennedy set that goal, we were just barely able to put men into orbit. We had yet to accomplish a space walk, an orbital rendezvous, or a docking. Ten years later we were on the moon.
