Any comments regarding the feasibility of applying in space the
construction method used by the Monolithic Dome Institute? Their builders
inflate and keep inflated a balloon form, and then apply shotcrete to the
inside of the form, which hardens to become the monolithic dome.

Jim Kaslik, better known as CloudHidden on the Domebuilders BBS, will be my
next
guest on the DomeTalk radio show, Thursday, March 22, 2001. Jim has built a
beautiful
dome home on the side of a Mountain in North Carolina. Make sure to check
out
the photos of the construction of this remarkable home.

Kathleen@... has been assigned to assist those wanting dome home
loans.
She obviously does not have all the answers, but she has a bunch. If you
would
e-mail to her the location of the home you are trying to finance and some
of
the details, she can get back to you with the names of lenders that have
told
us they would finance a Monolithic Dome home.

For those who are interested in a Monolithic Dome home, I strongly suggest
that
you get yourself a copy of the Dome Living book.

Our first workshop for 2001 will be this week. The one in April is filled,
but
the one in May still has openings. If you want to get into the dome
building
business, or be a successful do-it-yourselfer, or a knowledgeable
participant,
I suggest that you look at joining us for this May workshop.

We appreciate all of you that are interested in this wonderful world of the
Monolithic
Dome. Our web site for February had over one and a half million hits. This
tells
you that there are large numbers of people wanting to know more.

Sincerely,

David B South, President
