Economics (was Critical time)

In each of these cases the companies and their investors (and bankers)
have experience and can be confident the risks to their investment are
relatively small. I'm not aware of companies investing billions in more
risky propositions that haven't been proved by themselves or others
before on a smaller scale.
Aye, there's the rub. I'm beginning to feel more and more that much can be said for a government-funded proof-of-concept prototype SPS. Perhapseven in an era where SPS can't yet meet or beat the price of electricity fromfossil fuels.
