Solid fuel Moon rockets (was Economics)

Please ignore my comments regarding the lack of uranium on the Moon, and

I don't think Apollo nor other programs found any deposits of uranium on
the Moon. But even on Earth, deposits of uranium are not that common.
Accordingly, I think it is unreasonable to conclude that there is none on
the Moon just because none has been found in the very limited prospecting
missions conducted thus far.

In any case, though, mining uranium on the Moon is a long ways off.
Uranium enrichment is not an easy task, and there are other complications
to using nuclear power as well. In the near-term, it is better to focus
on materials more easily gained from lunar resources, such as oxygen, iron,
fiberglass, lunarcrete, etc.
