Many lunar resource utilisation papers, talk about construction of habitats
using Glass-Glass composites. Presumably, this means Aluminosilicate or
Fused Silica glass fibres in a lower melting point, glass matrix. Can
anyone provide any more information on this? Starting with the very first
HEO workshops, we will certainly need to manufacture certain structures out
of lunar materials. O'Neill suggested Glass-Glass composites, but I can
find little information about the manufacture of these.
