That clock is not fair, going to the moon is sort of like going from
England (what is the island called?) to Ireland. In fact, Ireland was used
as a test ground for early plantations. Besides, considering the increase
of communication capabilities, plus the technology, plus or much greater
experience in capitalism, I'd reduce the amount of time your talking about.
Also, how does the first city on the moon relate to the first city in the
continental US? How long after Columbus was the first European built city
in the New World founded, that would be at least a little more accurate.
