Hello, Vladimir.

The inner sphere would be under compression. Although a sphere is the
best shape, handling the compressive force of the pressure differential
would require considerable wall mass. I vote for more air rather than an
inner sphere.

In the first place I request excuses because I don't speak English, so if
you find some error I wait you know how to excuse it.

IDEAS FOR THE ATMOSPHERE IN ISLAND ONE

I don't know if this idea has been exposed previously by somebody, but it
has just happened me and I have decided to communicate it, in The book "The
High Frontier" I believe to have understood that problems could exist with
the mass of the atmospheres inside the space cities, because a bigger mass
implied bigger difficulties to be retained inside a closed structure and in
rotation in the one emptied space, the centrifugal force would push toward
it was the mass of air and the pressure of the atmosphere would increase
what would create problems when maintaining it closed inside the structure
of the space city, this bears to space, more expensive, and smaller cities.

But do I have an alternative, in the case of Island One, why not to build a
second smaller sphere inside the first one?, and in the case of Island two
and Island Three, why not to build smaller cylinders inside those that
compose the Islands?; these cylinders would be empty inside or at least
they would have lighter gases or to an inferior pressure, this would reduce
the mass of the space station considerably, and it would reduce the
atmospheric pressure, at the same time they would lower the costs.
