Increased arterial pressure is the major negative symptom. I'm not sure if
this is simply related to high oxygen partial pressures or high oxygen
percentage atmospheres. For a 0.2bar pure oxygen atmosphere, unless the
victim increases his breathing rate, the same amount of oxygen is going
into his lungs per breath as would be the case in earth normal sea level
atmosphere. The question is, will it diffuse through the Alveoli walls as
quickly at this lower pressure? Increasing the atmospheric pressure to
1/3rd bar would compensate for low pressure effects, but what about the
fire risk?
