The ISS

I would expect that the experiments going up now are both remotely
monitored and remotely controled with the astronuts responsiblities
being limited to changing bulk canisters and removing one module from
the rack and replaceing it with another.

The type of independent remote operation that we are interested in would
be a replacement for spacewalks on the outside of the station.
