Too many vibrations. ISS jiggles too much. When Hubble snapped its
"Deep Field" view a few years ago, it looked at the same patch of sky for a
very long amount of time ( I think >24 hours ).

The latest article about the HST has me wondering.

The article mentions major surgery that would be required to boost the
capabilities of Hubble up to standards. That surgery would require a
special shuttle trip, etc. etc. Why not add the HST to ISS? That way any
surgery could be done by the ISS crew, with regular work being done any
time it needs to be?
