Superconductors and mass drivers (and other electric guns)

Thanks Mike, I just found his original posting and the discussion that
followed it in the Google Usenet archive - Thanks. I actually had a go at trying to find this thread at Google myself,but wasn't able to find it. I note that the Lofstrom article is still dated 1994, and Kare's rebuttal is dated 1995. So I don't think it's been re-written to take into account later criticisms.
