Joe,
I completely agree. If we can get DOD to help us
finance SPS's that would be great. Right now they are
too expensive, but if they develop the lift vehicles
with the nuclear second stage that was on Space com a
few weeks ago things could really change fast.

I want to develop space resources so that we can
provide work for all the space colonists. Sounds
backwards doesn't it? :) I want mankind to go past the
limitations of this one planet and SPS's could be the
first step.

How much of all the great achievements of mankind
were intertwined with military purpose? SPS's should
be looked on as just one more.
