1. The latest (depressing) update from the ISS is that another
Progress is going to be deorbited.
commercially available electric/ion/plasma thruster that can be the
basis for the first space junkyard? I'm ready to invest.
2. In the Space -vs- Luna -vs- Mars debate I have the following
question that, I hope, may focus the discussion. What imaginable
scenario results in a product made on Mars and sold on Earth for a
profit? I think economics is what will get us into space and that
delta v = $. Therefore, put me in the "Mars is a dead end" camp.
Luna has advantages that may overcome the gravity well - it is a good
and necessary debate.
3. Finally, I vote that the moderator delete or severely edit the
anti-capitalist, anti-big business, conspiricy spouting junk that
periodically finds its way unto this forum.
