In regard to "... There's an interesting article on spaceflightnow (c.f.,
http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n0112/04marslumpy/) that boosts Zubrin's
cause: "... intensely magnetized crust. "
I don't see how that can help much with Mars. It is still too far away
and not enough like Earth.
