I'll get around to it, & reply if we require feedback -that's not a
blow-off, but I wanted to respond now to let you know I'm listening.

It still doesn't change the parameters which have been established
for space habitation:
~51cm sand equivalent = 1.4 tonne/sq meter for solar flare shielding
(as on ships, could be interior area, with equivalent mass from
structure, water or waste tankage, etc)
~1.8 meter sand equivalent = 5 tonne/sq meter for full cosmic ray
shielding. (could be provided for inhabitants with insensitive
equipment/mass in decks under the primary habitation volume)

(going from memory of O'Neill's and Heppenheimer's books & rough
conversions & ~170lbs/cubic foot of sand/rock dust/slag)
