Same here. That's why I asked. I was re-reading your 'if I were an
evil alien' thing when it struck me, "Ya know, that doesn't even
*sound* like Roddenberry!"

The Binars seem more "Roddenberrian" than the Borg. Increased
capabilities, but not without some price. A sort of "benign Borg."

Been reading up on transhumanism. Interesting. My GF thinks
it's "weird." But then, I rather like weird (as does she, in
truth... after all, she got me ^_~ ).

Could be why there has been no Steve Austin movie, despite years of
rumors about it. Of course, he'd cost more than $6,000,000 now.
