Launching Ramp 2

Hello

I think the cryogenics and other things associated with Maglev have to do
with efficiency and economy of operation, important for a railroad but not so
much so for a short duration event like a launch.

If the electric rail gun is the most realistic choice eight now, lets look
into costs, etc.

Is there any technology that has to be 'perfected' yet for a rail gun to
work? If not, why not start brainstorming a real design. To be blunt.. do we
have anything better to do? ;)
