It occurs to me that gravity is very handy in dealing with
water on earth. If that blob of water hit your face at low
speed, and your lungs were empty (so you couldn't blow it
out of your mouth), you might drown. Of course you could
use your hands to wipe the water away, but that's not
always an option.
