Some fairly simple ideas about food preparation and storage in space
colonies which may be amusing to consider are: The storage of many foods on
Earth involves low temperatures, vacuum, and drying (which would occur in a
cold vacuum). These conditions would be inexpensive to achieve in an
orbiting habitat. And popping pop corn would give bigger and more fluffy
"flowers" in vacuum. Jay Huebner
