satellites into lunar-stationary orbit and another trio into geo-
stationary orbit to enable our tele-operation process.
one problem with this. Lunar stationary orbit is about 55000 miles high. This not only puts it out past L1 and L2, but also slightlyinto earth gravity well. Obviously, anything in this orbit would be perturbed to the point of instability, so another solution has to be found. In this case you have three. A few satellites with a eccentric Molniya orbits like the Russians used to use for communicating with MIR. Relay satellites in orbot around the earth at L4 or L5. And if you're on the dark side of the moon (useful for radio telescope work and/or privacy) you can orbit a relay satellite around L2 behind the moon. Alex
