What would you change?

As an Australian, I find American citizens discussing democracy to be a
rather interesting notion. Please do continue, but please don't imagine
that what you have (at least at the Federal level) could be confused with
the Australian version of democracy - also not perfect by any means, but
with enough differences to make your eyes open. ;-)
