I read in Business Week about rise of young women in
education such that they now outnumber men 60-40 on
college campuses. When you follow this out a
generation, it is pretty obvious that there will be
more professional women than men in business &
politics - even the space program.

This poses the question of how dominated the current
space movement is by men and and how we might change
it. I cannot remember a conference where there was
anything like equal representation.

If we are perceived to be a group of mostly guys
focused on techie things then that seems to be a path
to being marginalized in the future. It could that I
have overlooked a lot of women that are as excited as
I am about the potential in space. What have you seen
that would reasure me that this is true?

Sincerely, Thor
