Hello

Hi, fellow space settlement enthusiasts. I just joined, and wanted
to
introduce myself and not be a lurker on such a relatively small list.
My name's Jonathan Michaels, a high school student from around San
Francisco. I've always been interested in space, went to Space
Academy a couple times, but my interest became more serious and more
into colonization when I read Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars series.
Joined the Mars Society, was into Mars for a while, but when I read
High Frontier, I realized that that was the real way to do it, not
planets. Last year or so I discovered Mr. Combs' page (and through
it, the SSI etc.). Superb! (You are on this list, right?) Whenever
I'm trying to introduce someone to the idea of space settlement, I
send them there. Personally, I particularly liked the fiction
stories. Anyway, that's it for the moment.
