Space Colonies or Mars ?

Greetings,am thinking going to Mars will just be a
repeat of the Apollo missions to the Moon,after two or
three launches,people will lose interest in Mars
because they will realize there is nothing in it for
them and they complain about the excessive amount of
tax payers money being spent and Congress will cancel
the Mars project.Space Colonies will have more to offer
everyone,Space is for everyone-not just astronauts and
scientists.Dirt cheap,pollution free energy of the Sun
and jobs of every occupation plus new jobs,an end to
poverty,each country would build their own Space
Colonies and have their own culture,language,political
system,religion,freedom to grow.Please see my posters
