I imagine non-processed regolith as a shielding only if you cover the inside
of your pressure hull with it, as if it were the dirt of your habitat. And it
would work only for cylindrical habitats... For external shields, one would
have to smelt the regolith into big regolith blocks and *then* bind the
things to the outside of the pressure hull (or organize them in a nice
voxel-like structure with no contact with the pressure hull, but surrounding
it).
