I think that we can take some lessons from the Mars Society itself. One of
the reasons of their success, I think, is their tight focus on the idea
"Colonization and terraformation of Mars is the manifest destiny of
Humanity", or something like that. The proposed I3S should keep a similarly
tight focus in the O'Neilian ideas.
