Solar Towers was How many SPSes for $87 billion ?

This is pretty much the opposite application of Zaslavsky's towers, but the
basic concept is the same, I guess this has the advantage of working without
water, which is certainly a plus in an arid environment, however I think
those 200k houses that gets the power will still need water too, so in the
whole I favour Zaslavsky's idea.
This is of course ignoring the fact that it would require a mile high tower
for that, while this looks like is working on a much smaller scale... :)
