Mars vs settlements.

but I'm still unconvinced... seems a bit daft going around terraforming an
entire planet that is going to leak like a colander... and is a unforgiving
ball of frozen dirt anyway... ;)
I rather spend the money in building habitats in a nice warm place, and if
one really wants a piece of ground it would still be much cheaper bring in
one of those big asteroids, especially one that you can mine for metals too,
for example...
Mars has always sounded like a bit waste of time to me... go for Jupiter's
moon if you really want a frozen wasteland, at least you get plenty of water
and some great view! ;)
