A way to Mars

For those interested in Mars or its moons, some asteroids are both
near earth and near Mars.

One may take as long as two or more years to get there.

The basic hull of the craft(s) can be shipped to the asteroid in
pieces and assembled there during the free ferry ride.

Asteroid material can be used to cover the assembled hulls for normal
space radiation shielding. An additional compartment can be added
within for emergency shielding (ie. solar flares).
