fact that fuel cells and the hydrogen economy are really just
batteries and not new sources of energy.
I wanted to see for myself how well the fuel cell would work if it
was implmented. I'm not that impressed. Of course, for space
systems, I think it is the best technology and it is what I'd use
for a lunar base or a space station.
For Earth there are better alternatives. Fuel cells are simply not
an elegant solution.
If you're still in touch with Mr. Eckart, please pass on my
complements. He's written a terrific book, jam packed with useful
information.
