Which is why I wrote "Iraq might have been a good test case, but
there is enough room for debate as to whether there was
authorization for war. You may agree or disagree on the conclusion
but surely all see that each side has some merit to their position."

I think that those who hold absolute opinions are willfully blind to
the opposing position. Things are not as simple as the US had no
cause or legitamacy for the war, nor as simple as the US was under
dire threat and needed to go to war.
