Fear is certainly a very powerul motivator. I, too, have thought about this
as a rallying point... It is a real threat, though of uncertain probability,
and the spin off's will certainly be appreciable for other projects -
perhaps making SPS easy enough to sell to John and Joanne Q. Unfortunately,
I think this may be unrealized until an actual threat is detected (I hope
soon enough to interdict!)
