This works to a certain extent. For example, in the Bernal Sphere, the
window area is smaller than the land area, though maybe only a bit under a
third as much. So I guess we're looking at something a bit over 3x solar
concentration. There's one MIT design that pushes this a bit further.

But there are limits to how far you can push this before you start
overheating your windows. I saw an amateur design where this problem was
solved by placing the windows underwater, such that they could never get
much above boiling temperature. But that would be a somewhat unearthly
looking habitat; one illuminated by several sun-hot geysers in a constant
state of eruption.
