Clearly the heat would be a problem, but as this is a function of how much
energy is absorbed by the light passing through, shouldn't there be some
matrerials whose transparency is greater than others. Also heat tolerance,
as well as possible cooling systems such as running a cooling fluid between
or through the 'window panes'. Since the reflectors will pass the really
nasty radiations, the windows will not have to be as thick, and can be much
smaller. Any ideas on materials?
