Work Breakdown Structufor SCSC

I had thought quartz as well, which is currently grown in quantities.
However, since glass is essentialy the same thing (minus the crystaline
structure), are the properties substaintially different? I am not sure how
hot glass would get, but I imagine we would have to think about a material
that can handle significantly different temperatures to make a difference.
That being said, I imagine that quartz would be the first choice due to its
physical toughness, anyway (over glass).
