SPS doubts

cannot know about oil reserves.

One question that occurs to me - is a society at risk
if all it takes to overcome a crisis is dumping SUV's
in favor of more energy efficient cars?

Got to get them around the enviros. Eventhough their
pet peeve (global
warming) and a host of other enviro problems they harp
on are all due to
non-nuclear power...

However, perhaps getting something like this into the
mind set of average
Joe and Joanne would be a good precedent for getiing
the same acceptance for
nuclear rockets, which are surely needed for anything
beyond the Earth-Moon
system.
