There's not enough minable uranium ore around to supply all world energy
needs (on a once-through fuel cycle) for more than 50-100 years.
Reprocessing, mining sea-water, or tearing up the landscape for granite
to extract very-low-grade uranium from would get more, but they won't be
pretty.
