Athese going to be space settlers' best friends?

I put it up because I think robotics will play a crucial part in
orbital construction and was wondering if each orbital worker will
have a *best friend* with him on the moon, asteriod, floating in
space, or traversing across the face of a SPS.

I'm not projecting that they'll be carrying ammunition though :)
