I'd like to piggyback my own hypothetical question onto this too...

How much fuel would it take to put a grain of sand (say one
milligram) into low Earth orbit 7.6km/sec?

I'll settle for a link to formulas. ;-) I realize info is needed
on the type of fuel, but I can get that later and plug it in.

Just trying to figure out what kind of savings future
miniaturization might offer for robotic space travel...
