Message What is the geometry of the "burn?" At high altitudes, with lower pressure, a candle sizedflame will generate less heat yet suffer nearly the same radiation losses, so the geometry isimportant to understand what is being considered. Don't know. But I kind of doubt there's an altitude so high that there's not enough O2 to burn with that a balloon can reach.
