Message What is the geometry of the "burn?" At high altitudes, with lower pressure, a candle sizedflame will generate less heat yet suffer nearly the same radiation losses, so the geometry isimportant to understand what is being considered. The "chemistry" would be basically the same, butthe feedback of heat to keep it going will be different.These are physical principles and not answers. Jay Huebner
