Study moves in on why astronauts suffer bone loss

I found the detail of a mechanical receptor
interesting. What would the risk be of consuming
something that activated this receptor throughout your
body?

My guess is that it would solve the demineralization
problem. There are lots of items that may not behave
this way like ear bones and cartilage. Would an
astronaut on this treatment get stiff or risk
deafness?
