Hi Lucio,
Uranium. I'm not fully aware of how it is
concentrated though its use is far more limited.
My background studies were in paleo climatology and
deep mantle mineralogy including a case study of
armacolite FeTi2O5 and other iron titanium oxides.
They have no expansion coefficient due to reordering
of their internal entropy states and are thus a novel
material to use.
Unless you teach it is hard to get a job in this area.

What about Thorium? Does Thorium ore need the same
hydrological, tectonic and
volcanic processes to form, as in the case of Uranium
ore?
BTW, I am curious, your knowledge of Geology and
Mineralogy seems very deep.
(Or at least much deeper than mine. :-) Do you work in
those areas?
