what we really need to go into space

Just because things don't happen overnight doesn't mean that they won't
happen at all. The facts show that there are no systems able to sustain
themselves in a robust enough manner to have the extra time and resources
for playing with new fangled things like space. In additon, many of the
alternate systems are so focused on controlling the populace, that they
stifle the necessary innovation for these undertakings. Again, the evidence
is very, very clear.

However, Paul, I will grant you that there are many inadequecies in the
present system that really need to be addressed. The beauty of it is that
they can be.

As Winston Churchill said: "Of all the forms of goverment, democarcy is the
least worst." That that can be said for capitalism and economies as well.
