This list is not *that* comprehensive, for it does not have the ships from the
Perry Rhodan (http://www.perry-rhodan.net/) universe! Oh, well, it is a
German series of weekly 100-pages books that exists since the 1960's - but it
never caught in the US. I really loved all those spherical ships (see for
instance

in my childhood... :-)
