Apparently you missed this response from Tangoman. Flywheels do not
cut it for the reasons given below. They just don't work, so they
fail to meet the requirement of "cheap".

Gridless power is dead Jim, let's forget about it.

No they can't. The issue they have to contend with is energy
density, and they simply don't measure up.
