Imagine we're in the days of the first few Habitats. I wouldn't
foresee the need to build jails or prisons when no criminals yet
exist. Then one day a rape or murder happens, or some other crime.
Assuming the accused is tried under local law, what shall we do with
the criminal if found guilty. House arrest? Convert a broom closet?
Who do we designate to be his guard and cook food for him?
people go for letting him go scott free by shipping him back to
Earth?
Any thoughts?
